Pit Stop Gourmet Burgers

WOW A+ 100, this place was just amazing. Huge portions extremely reasonable prices fresh food loved it. My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday I was completely blown away by the quality of the food. The only thing I would say is the macaroni and cheese was a no.. I would avoid it. However everything else was phenomenal, from the artwork on the walls to the ambiance, the wait staff was very attentive. I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and it was by far the best philly cheesesteak I have had in Sierra vista. I am from Pennsylvania so don't expect a Pennsylvania style cheesesteak anywhere outside of Pennsylvania except maybe in New Jersey right across the bridge from Philly. Yes, this place is a bit out of the way of the Sierra Vista business district. Yes, the sign isn't easy to see from eastbound 92. But this is the best burger I've had in ages! Totally worth the trek. I got the 2x2 burger without a bun, with provolone and their fresh cut fries, WHICH ARE GLUTEN-FREE - HOORAY!!! Literally the best fries I've ever had. No need for ketchup or even hot sauce, they were that good. I ate all of them, and I normally don't. Definitely on the inexpensive side as well; everything we ate had bacon in it, but was cheaper than most burgers in Phoenix metro without bacon. If it's a super tasty burger you're craving, you can't go wrong here. My only complaint is that this is the only one! Please hurry up and open a Pit Stop in Phoenix, please and thank you. 😁

One of the best burgers I've had in a while. I had the Bacon Beast and it was stacked with bacon. Loved it. My son had the WTF burger and he really liked his. I went a second time and had the Brisket Burger. This is the best burger I have ever had. Decently priced for a burger like this. $18 for the burger, side dish and drink. My wife had the mushroom burger and it was very delicious for only $14.

The food here is missing some salt/flavor. Really nice presentation I had high expectations. The macaroni was watery and reminded me of the bag Mac and cheese at a fast food place. The pulled pork definitely needed some more salt even with the sauce on it I still thought it was missing some flavor. The burgers were cooked to our liking. The steak fries/homemade fries were soggy. I did enjoy the chili cheese fries, that being said the chili consistency could have been thicker and I’m not a beans in chili kind of gal so the amount of beans felt very heavy. Glad I tried it but I don’t see myself returning.

This place is so good! We have eaten here about 5-6 times now, so we have been here enough to know it’s consistently good. Our favorite items are the sirloin sandwich (pictured here), the bang bang shrimp, the 2x2 burger, the mushroom burger and the baked beans which is an option for the side. Fair price and quality food!
