I stopped in to try something new in this little town that struggles with quality restaurants. The staff were friendly and dresses professional. The seating was comfortable with small electric cooktops at each table. We started with the wontons and tempara shrimp. The food came out fast and tasted good. They brought out trays of korean vegtables and kimchi. All were good. We also ordered the spicy squid that just slightly over cooked but good. I spoke with the owner who was very forthcoming with what was cooked fresh and what the purchase from retail. She indicated each morning she goes to the grocery store to hand pick her vegetables and preps each day. It is a small family business that take pride in what the do. Ignore the 1 star review that was clearly just another unhappy Californian

The 3 protein flight is a great way to try the different options. My family and I loved the galbi (beef short ribs) the most. The beef bulgogi and pork belly were good too. The staff was very kind & attentive, despite being very busy at 4pm-6pm. When we left, the place had emptied out so their dinner rush seems to be much earlier than other restaurants. They answered all our questions & made sure we had refills of banchan and changed out our grill mid-way. I was surprised that it didnt get very smoky inside despite not seeing a traditional kbbq ventilation system. The ceiling did appear to have a lot of vents, one every few feet throughout the entire dining space. They even gave us a discount, as my husband is ex-military which we did not expect. This was my first time at this location since its rebrand and new ownership took over. It wasn't the best I have tasted but the food was tasty, satisfying and filling. I ordered the Jjampong soup and my partner had the shrimp fried rice. Portions were huge and we both had enough left for dinner later. We chose a time during early afternoon when there was less of a crowd. The service was efficient, courteous and prompt. The prices are a bit high but no higher than I have seen at a restaurant of this nature.

Great dining experience and friendly. I recommend the teriyaki chicken, shrimp, and beef bulgogi. They don’t have their alcohol license yet but hopefully they do when I return. Highly recommend it here if you want to eat good protein. They offer a 10% military discount.

This is an awesome place to eat Korean food which you can grill yourself or they can prepare it for you. We had the thinly sliced, marinated beef Bulgogi that we grilled and was absolutely the most tender we have had. After grilling and wrapping it in the lettuce leaf with white stemed rice was so good. Walking in was a treat as walking into a restaurant in Korea. All the sides that they provided were great, got seconds on the cucumber kimchi no issues. We had great service from the time we walked in to when we left. The price was $29 for a pound of meat that could fill a couple of people but we ordered two sets which came with another rice bowl.
