Spike the owner is super nice. Food was very fresh and delicious. Being from Houston we try a lot of Vietnamese food but I've never had SMOKED BRISKET PHO! Makes the whole broth have a deeper flavor. But the best part was the VIETNAMESE COFFEE. It's his own recipe and it's so flavorful. Loved it. Will definitely be back.
This place is super good!! Everything we ordered was amazing. It's modern Vietnamese food with a twist, delicious, bold flavors, and a super friendly owner. Highly recommend the smoked brisket pho or rice. The baos were also bangin! Come for the food and water views. Will be back!
This is such a great spot! In town for my father’s doctor appointment and decided to try some place new.I really wanted some pho. I found this place from google, best decision, because it was so good! I got the smoked brisket pho and dumplings. For me Pho is about broth and this broth was wonderful, so much flavor and paired with the smoked brisket it was just what I needed! I also want to mention that the owner was so friendly and attentive ! Try them! You won’t regret it ❤️ P.s Try the coffee. It’s fantastic , you can take it to go!
If I could give more the 5 stars I would. The seafood Pho was amazing! The cajun chicken wings were the bestbI habe had. Spike the owner was running the show all by himself and never missed a beat! I have found my happy place in Galveston!
Came here because of the reviews. First: there is no pirate theme inside. It’s more of a dive bar. Big TVs with sports and one speaker in the back for all the TVs. Second: the service was slow. I get it, it as one waitress’s , the owner and whoever in the back. But it was slow! Very slow and frustrating that we had to hunt down service to take our orders and to check out. The excuse was “ oh I thought you wanted just starters”, hmm does it look like I was? I had three children and two adults.. anyways… Food, third! Smoked brisket pho was flavorless. The Smokey flavor is smelt, the broth was blend and the brisket was chewy. The brisket Sandwhich was an issue because of the chewiness. The chicken tender and fries were great to my 6 year old daughter. Then I shared a noodle chicken dish w
