Tacos El Jardin Tropical is amazing. From the tacos to the atmosphere, absolutely 10/10. We ordered the pastor, chicken & fajita meats. DELICIOUS! The hospitality of the owner is what made the experience even greater. He greeted and spoke with us personally. We will certainly be returning!

Go and support a local while enjoying some awesome tacos and quesadillas! Went tonight for the first time because my niece swears by this place. We ordered a variety of tacos (al pastor, barbacoa, cochinillo pibil, beef) and ended up with a chicken quesadilla in lieu of lengua which had run out. Everything was served hot and delicious, along with optional green and red salsa. Javier was an attentive and informative host - really sweet and spent some time talking with us. Thanks, too, to Elmer who was manning the griddle. I'm embarrassed to admit that everything smelled to delicious when Javier delivered it to our table that we didn't take any food pictures. Go. An Absolute Treasure! Our New Favorite Spot! My fiancée and I just had the most incredible experience at Taqueria El Jardin Tropical, and I am already counting down the minutes until we can go back. This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough! We ordered the barbacoa quesadilla, and it was simply divine. The barbacoa was unbelievably tender and flavorful, packed into a perfectly grilled tortilla with an amazing amount of delicious, gooey cheese. Every single bite was pure perfection. But the highlight of our visit was something truly special. On a whim, we asked if they could possibly make a California burrito, even though we didn't see it on the menu. Amazing Mexican food truck! The tacos and quesadillas were super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their sauces were the highlight — absolutely delicious and made the whole meal even better. Great portions and authentic taste. Highly recommend! 🌮

Best tacos and quesadillas we’ve had on the island! The place is clean, welcoming, and you can really tell they care about quality. The owner is very friendly. Definitely a must visit in Galveston.
