After a busy day of exploring Asheville we got back to the hotel around 9:30. We were hungry for pizza but it was hard to find a local pizza place that was still open and we didn't want to get some from a chain that we have back home We decided on this place and glad we did. Huge, tasty pieces of NY style pizza. We had great service from door dash too. Win win!
I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life and this is quite possibly the best tasting pizza I've ever had. I wanted to eat more than one slice because of how good it was but the slices are so large I couldn't physically eat more than one. The zip sauce and the ranch dip we're both delicious, especially the zip sauce! The service was great and it was within walking distance to a lot of other great businesses/breweries and such in the downtown area. We watched a guy buy an entire pie and he had to put it in the trunk of his car. I'm sure wherever he showed up with that thing he was received with a round of applause and followed by a trail of drool.
I visited Asheville recently and stopped by PIE.ZAA Pizza what a great find! I ordered a pie and had no idea it was going to be that massive. Seriously, it’s huge, which makes it even more awesome. The pizza was really good perfectly cheesy with those crispy little pepperoni cups that pack so much flavor. The service was also fantastic super friendly. And I have to mention the humor first, the restroom sign that said, “Whatever just please wash your hands,” had me laughing. Then there was another sign listing “Things to Flush… Negative Opinions, Judgments, Attitude” and “Things NOT to Flush… Your Hopes & Dreams, Pizza, Unpaid Bills.” Little touches like these really made the experience memorable and fun. If you’re in Asheville and craving a giant, delicious pizza with great service, Pie
Great prices for the product their putting out. Huge slices of ny style pizza. Open till late night so if youre bar hopping and dont know where to go, pie.zaa might be open!
The slices were huge! They offer beer but no water. They have seating both inside and outside. The service is friendly. Don’t miss the Zip sauce. Parking was limited to side streets.
