Pierre's Bakery Blue Island

I have been ordering cakes from Pierre’s Bakery (Blue Island) for over 20 years, and they have never disappointed! The cakes are always fresh, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious. Every time I place an order, the staff provides excellent customer service — they are friendly, professional, and always make sure everything is just right. Pierre’s Bakery has been my go-to for birthdays, celebrations, and special occasions for two decades. It’s rare to find a place that stays this consistent for so many years. I highly recommend Pierre’s to anyone looking for amazing cakes and outstanding service…thank u all soooo much!!!!

I went to pick up my cake I got made and the cake look nice. But the cake was horrible, the taste of it was bland and dry. It doesn’t taste like a cake at all. It felt like I’m eating a piece of cardboard with some tasteless buttercream frosting. I was better off going to Jewel Osco and got it decorated. If you want a nice cute cake just for decoration, then this will be a good option. But for taste, no. I would not recommend.

This place literally played in my daughter face yesterday first off the number 6 cupcake I requested look like I could of did that myself it literally look like they just stuck 24 cupcakes down and shaped it as a number 6 and the lady who passed me my order yesterday was so rude she told me we can fix it but if u don’t like then there’s nothing we can do very rude & unprofessional then the butter cream icing taste like battery poison we threw the whole thing in the garbage 85$ wasted 👎 yall need to do better that was unacceptable! Update so I spoke with Charlie he was very nice and is offering my daughter a cake to fulfill our problem really appreciate that !

When I say they’re THE BEST!!! From their professionalism to their loving attitudes!!! Everyone is wonderful and the cakes are WONDERFUL!!! Delicious and moist!!! Stop playing with them. And they’ll even add a dash of liquor to the top of your cake if you like LoL I bought the bottles from the store next door and they made that cake Gorgeous for my fiancés bday! And we get everyone’s cake from there! Go see them don’t wait!! Oh and they’ll accept EBT

Stopped by this place to get a treat for myself. Bought a cake slice and two pastries in their self serve area. Cake was okay and tasted better after it got to room temp - tried a couple bites right after buying it and I did not enjoy it at first. Also bought a croissant and some sort of cheesecake or custard which was really yummy as well.
