Picnic

Fantastic lattes, yummy baked goods, cozy corner spot with wifi, great staff, and a fantastic view. Working through the entire menu before we leave at the end of summer. Photo is chocolate croissant bread pudding and it is perfection. Avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, bagels: all on point.

It may have been raining and dreary outside but we were met with smiles and warmth as soon as we walked in. The owners are amazing which made the sandwiches taste even better which is saying alot because everything we ate was incredible. We came back the next morning for breakfast. Wow. While ordering breakfast, we asked if we could order sandwiches so we could take Picnic on our picnic to the lighthouse. They said, "of course." So tasty. I would give 10 stars but the rating only goes to 5.

I had the most delightful cup of chai latte a French breakfast roll and to top it off a chocolate chip cookie. The owners and staff were lovely and happy to chat and it was also incredibly clean.

So happy to have stopped here for breakfast! My husband will not stop talking about “the fluffiest egg ever”, and I enjoyed the avocado toast with bacon. Get the salted chocolate chip cookie, wish I had gotten 2.

If you like fresh made pastry sandwiches for breakfast, including bagels and croissants, this is the place to stop! The coffee and cookies are also excellent. The staff and owners were amazing and down to earth, exactly what you expect downeast.
