Kilby House Inn B&B

What a wonderful surprise. Met some amazing folks. Greg is very kind and gracious. He made a delicious breakfast and was so friendly and accommodating. We wish we would have had more time to spend there. Highly Recommend!

I stayed for two nights at the Kilby House Inn and it was a great experience from the minute I called to make the reservation. Innkeeper Greg was extremely helpful, sharing recommendations for places to stop en route for lunch, sightseeing, amazing chocolates, and more. Once I arrived and throughout my stay, Greg was welcoming and hospitable, giving advice and directions to local sights and generally making the whole stay pleasant and memorable.

My stay here was wonderful! The Guest Room was perfect. I loved that the door had a skeleton key. It's located just a short walk from the shops. The host was very hospitable and prepared a wonderful breakfast and shared several recommendations of where to eat and places to see in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay for three nights at the Kilby House. The owner Greg was a great host and has put a lot of work into restoring this fine home to its’ original glory. The interior is beautifully decorated and filled with period furniture. It really felt like being in the latter part of the 19th century when you sat in the parlor after breakfast talking with Greg and planning the day’s adventures. The breakfasts were excellent and I’m pretty sure the crust for the quiche was homemade and the orange juice was fresh squeezed. Definitely a great experience and I highly recommend staying there if you’re up that way in Maine.

Greg, the host, was wonderful from the first phone call. We chatted about how I could schedule a family event in Eastport and then about our shared teaching profession. Over the next 3 months, he graciously answered some frantic phone calls about the weather and the number of rooms we would actually need. Each resolution was more than satisfactory. His home is elegant and the breakfasts superb, including the Tuscan melon only available in the summer. Our party enjoyed his “stories”, his very personable personality and our time at KILBY HOUSE. His B and B is far superior to the other accommodations available in and around Eastport.
