Customer Reviews
We have passed by this place so many times and it wasn't until someone recently told us how good it was that we decided to give it s try and were glad we did! We pulled in and found it was packed! We put our name in with the hostess and she said it would be about a 25 minute wait after she walked around to double check, (it was only 2 of us and everyone else waiting were larger parties.) Anyway, I noticed 2 possible open seats at the bar (beer and wine only). The seats were indeed available so my husband let the hostess know to remove our name. We sat down and Audrey immediately acknowledged us. She took our beverage order and I was so happy that when she knew I wanted a red, her immediate response was, "I just opened a cab if you like cabs." I do like cabs and I don't like a red that ha
Can’t beat this lovely local Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is artistic and inviting. Clean restrooms. Bar and patio seating available. The staff are a cut above, very helpful and accommodating. I had lunch here with my husband. We each had the lunch special of pizza and salad. You choose from several options of each. Pizza is wood fired while you wait. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Full bar and Coke products.
Pizza was very good as well as the Greek salad! Quality ingredients, good service and plenty of free parking.
While passing through, a local recommended this pizza spot, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The wood-fired pizza imparted a wonderful flavor to the crust, which was the perfect thickness—not too thin like New York style and not too thick like deep dish. I tried the Hawaii 5-0, and it was the ideal combination of pineapple, ham, red onions, and plenty of fresh mozzarella. The small Caesar salad was also a standout—delicious and generously sized, easily enough for two to share.
Took my son here for his 13th birthday. The decor had old wooden pizza patties on the walls and colored glass wine bottles as part of thr art which was very interesting. The pizza we had was some of the best in East Asheville. Our server was very nice and kept our drinks full. The restaurant was clean and inviting.
