Pi Bakerie has really become my go to local coffee shop in SoHo. It’s one of those places that manages to feel both casual and elegant at the same time. The space is bright, warm, and always smells like fresh baked pastries right out of the oven. They serve excellent coffee perfect for starting the morning or taking a mid day break and their Greek dishes are genuinely authentic and flavorful. I’ve tried a few of their salads and each one has its own personality, but the watermelon feta salad really stands out with its refreshing balance of sweet and savory. The orange cake is another must try moist, fragrant, and perfectly sweet without being heavy. They also offer several different types of baklava, including some modern or “downtown” variations that are a fun twist on the traditional Gre

One of my favorite things about coming to New York is stumbling into a place completely at random, taking a chance on a dish, and getting absolutely blown away by it. Pi Bakerie was exactly that type of moment. I ordered the pastitsio and it stopped me in my tracks.. rich, comforting, a little sweet in that warm-spiced way. After eating it, I did what I always do now and looked up the story behind the restaurant. And that was just as good as the food. Learning about Regina, her roots, and the history behind this place made the whole experience even better. There are so many incredible stories behind small restaurants in this city, and this one was a fun one to discover. I’m taking inspiration back to the Midwest after this meal. Amazing work all around ... the food, the vibe, the herita

Excellent cafe with a variety of home cooked style food! Tasty bakery and coffee, plus delicious baklava. Loved stuffed pepper, it’s a common dish enjoyed in Eastern Europe, so I felt happy to eat my familiar cuisine.

I would give it six stars if I could. Ate spanikopita, baklava, orange pie, lentil salad, and chickpea salad. All were exceptional. Star of the show was the lentil salad as the sherry vinegar dressing really shines thru alongside the green onions. Orange pie was a powerful experience as well. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. Will be back. Yammas.
