Pho Star in Vancouver

My go to for Vietnamese food is usually Bun bo Hue, but I wanted to try out Bo Kho, and its a harder item to find at alot of Vietnamese restaurants so I'm glad that Pho Star had it! Lets say it might be my new favorite! Also its absolutely delicious here! Great job Pho star! Pro tip, get it with the baguette over rhe noodles ;) I'll definitely be coming back!

Found this place and decided Veitnamese was good for me for lunch. I ordered a Viet style iced coffee and a pork bahn mi sandwich, no cilantro. The iced tea was refreshing! The sandwich was 🔥! The pork was so delicious that I can still taste it! Bread was nice and crispy. The table hot sauce also packed a bunch of flavor! The special hot sauce the waitress brought out was a bit too spicy for me, but if you like super spicy, ask for it. They also has hoison sauce and Sriracha on the table. Service was great. She came out promptly and the sandwich came out in about 5 minutes, super fresh. Some Uber eats guys came and went quickly. Very speedy service. This is my now only go-to PHO in Vancouver, I have practically tried them all and this place makes the most flavorful and light broth with so much meats and things inside. Large bowls available. They sell other foods too besides pho soup and portions are generous! I am now a regular there. When I come in, they right away check with me on my regular order and get it started right away! Love love love this place! Please never close down 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've tried pho from Portland to Seattle and Pho Star tops them all. What it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in delicious food. This isn't a trendy new spot, a hopping bar for drinks, or anything bougie - this is about the FOOD. And they do it better than anyone else. Great pricing and quality/portions. Try the crispy rolls! You will want an order to go.
