Staying at the Phineas Wright house was one of the most delightful experiences of my life! Wendy has an amazing skill of anticipating one's needs and addressing them (sometimes even before one is aware of them). Highly highly recommend all to find their way to Bolton- if only to be spoiled by Wendy and the beauty of her farm. I've been fortunate that my stay at the PWH was only the beginning of our friendship, and now I have the pleasure of looking forward to more authentic times together (at the PWH and beyond).
My farm stay at Phineas Wright House was absolutely spectacular! I felt a sense of peace the moment I pulled into the gravel driveway and gazed upon the beautiful barn and historic home. Wendy creates a bespoke experience for her guests and I was very comfortable in the bed and breakfast. Her attention to the smallest details made me feel so welcome and the homemade breakfasts were some of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend joining Wendy for a Friday evening Supper Club during your stay. This was a magical experience where new friends were made, exquisite food was served, and the most engaging conversations were shared! My weekend at PWH was a luxurious opportunity to rest and restore. I am so grateful to Wendy for anticipating my every need, I truly felt celebrated and will return
Oh my. Stay here if you can. This is a lovely home and amazing event venue. You'll be transported to a working 1750's farm, with 1000 count sheets and blazing wireless, all 5 mins from Rte 495. Wendy is a charming and delightful host. Fresh eggs from her own 'happy chickens' for breakfast. Indescribably good cookies. Champagne from a friend's vineyard in France. Antiques galore, foot-wide 200 yo pumpkin pine floors, Persian rugs, massive fireplaces, brick ovens, gorgeous barn, fields. Oh my.
Fantastic, attentive host. Wendy is a beautiful light in the world. The Phineas House is lovely space and her food is delicious. We will be back!
THE PEONIES ARE TO DIE FOR!! Wendy is the hostess with the mostess!!
