Oak & Orchard Tap & Table

I blew into the O&O just as a wintry mix was blowing out of town! The entrance was incredibly slippery and no care was taken to clear the walkways. I step pretty gingerly to begin with so was pretty nervous about slipping on the slick ramp. The place was empty but really beautifully decorated. Imagine that all you want is unsweetened iced tea only to be told they ONLY serve sweet tea! Darn! I ordered the chicken sandwich which was presented with pickles and a lightly toasted brioche bun. I was supplied with all the sauces on the side and chose the garlic aioli. No chipotle mayo at the O&O! Scandalous! I’m a fan of light and fluffy buns and I was disappointed with the brioche. It was dense but it was buttery. The sandwich came with crispy fries which I asked to be upgraded to truffle fries.

Under new ownership. Upsale vibe and decor. Great option for area with not many dining choices. Martinis were delicious $16. Menu had something for everyone. Good apps, pizzas, handhelds and Full entree menu. Hummus plate for app, followed by Steak tips potatoe and veg. Tips were cooked perfect, split meal with friend. Good, attentive service.

We had a reservation for 7:15 and didn’t get seated until about a half hour later. They were packed, but we asked to sit outside and when they finally sat us, there were five empty tables on the patio so I’m not sure what the hold up was. We didn’t get apps or drinks until after 8pm. The food was pretty good and our wait staff were all excellent. It didn’t take a long time for our food to come out, which was nice. The donut holes we had for dessert were fantastic. I’ll be back, but maybe not on a Friday night.

Went to opening night and this place is perfect!!! The decor is inspired, being both comfortable and welcoming. Love the colors and art. Music wasn’t too loud nor too quiet and great tunes. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! The portions generous. We split the pork dumplings for the appetizer, and got the fish and chips and chimchurri steak frites as our entrees. I’m in love with their key lime pie martini and the smoked old fashioned was also great. Dessert was the apple crisp and the peanut butter cup pie. We probably should have split one dessert but we really wanted to try more. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! All around I recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, great people! My wife and I went there for a night out and had an awesome experience. It has the best of both worlds; great for an intimate dinner, a casual night out with the kids or a post-little league game debrief. The food was unexpectedly good, with apps ranging from simple fare to seared ahi tuna and delicious desserts to finish off. I grabbed a flight of local brews that was perfect! The owners are down to earth people who really want you to have a great experience and are open to any feedback. Their own kids were there and politely showed us around the restaurant. Looking forward to many future date nights at Oak and Orchard!
