If you are out cruising in the Ocala National Forest this is a must stop at place for a great BBQ. I had a BBQ sandwich and it was certainly PHATT. And delicious.

This place is AMAZING! Would be so worth the drive if you really are a lover of good, fresh barbecue! They have the meat cooking out front and the sides are just like your grandma would make them! I haven’t had greens that good in a long time! Literally can’t wait to try their homeade pizza and a good scoop of icecream! Might just stay another day in Umatilla for this place! A must try! GREAT RIBS!

Had the pulled pork and it was delicious! Really great price, especially for the portion size plus two sides. I highly recommend!

We love Pratt Shack! The brisket is our favorite but the pulled pork is also really really good, my son’s favorite is the chicken. His greens and green beans mix is always a hit and my kids even eat his coleslaw it’s so good. They also have hand scoop and prepackaged icecream, soda, and snacks. The prices are always super great and they’re the nicest people!

This place is a HIDDEN GEM!!! (Not really hidden, but it is definitely not urban.) Certainly worth the drive to get here. Great ribs n pulled pork! I also hear he makes a wicked good Cuban. The Mrs enjoyed the King sauce but my palate prefers his sweet sauce. Next time (there DEFINITELY WILL be a next time ;) ) I'm trying his spicy-sweet sauce. Baked beans were just okay... Cole Slaw was FAB! Tater Salad was quite good. Greenbeans-n-Greens were really tasty (and I normally am not a fan of greens.) Portion size of the meats in the dinner plate was VERY Generous.... Sides were sized well enough. This is TakeOut only, so bring your camp chair if you want to eat here. There is a restroom in the store. Please be patient with him as this is a one-man show and is just now opening up... But BBQ t
