Bear’s Beans & Bagels

I went here this morning to meet with someone over coffee. This is a cool place!!! Nicely decorated with an inviting interior and very friendly and helpful staff. My coffee (Latte) was AMAZING and prepared hot, fresh and fast. There is plenty of seating and they have Wifi as well. Next time I will have to try their Bagels! It's so nice to see a neat coffee shop in Umatilla, and I wish them much continued success.

I recently started working again in the Umatilla area after a couple years out of town, and I was stunned to find such a good local coffee shop just minutes from my office. I ordered their cold brew with a double shot of espresso and the coffee was strong and delicious (not watered down like a lot of places). The staff were friendly and welcoming and had my coffee ready quickly. The shop itself is also very down to earth and aesthetically pleasing, and their logo is absolutely adorable. I’ll definitely be stopping by here on the regular.

It was a Saturday morning and the decision was made to try to look for a bagel shop with bagels comparable to what I have enjoyed all of my life and Bear's Beans & Bagels was todays pick. The iced Banana Cream Pie latte was tasty and smooth which satisfied my thirst. Unfortunately, the bagels of which I purchased 3 different to go are not the style of a compact firm boiled-baked bagel. These bagels had more of a bread or roll texture. The Asiago Cheese bagel shown in the picture had plenty of cheese! If you like a trendy little spot to have a coffee with a friend you can eat at a table on the sidewalk or inside and park across the street in the public parking area. Sorry, I won't be back for the bagels just the lattes.....

We popped in with a group and they had our drinks and food out quickly. The latte drink names are cute and clever. Espresso is fresh and drinks aren’t too sweet. Vibe is super fun and the space is immaculate. Super friendly service is the cherry on top! Highly recommend.

Cozy and very clean establishment. Simple menu with great prices. The bagels aren't your typical firm bagel; they are on the softer side. However, I enjoyed them as a sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. The service was fast which I very much appreciated. I was a bit underwhelmed with the coffees. For us, they weren't very good. I would still recommend to try them out.
