Really enjoyed my breakfast here. I was in millbrae because my flight landed the night before - I was starving but wanted an authentic booth style diner experience. Peter’s is the perfect rainy morning vibe. Endless coffee, delicious pancakes, and eggs just how you want them. Would come back.
Great old school diner. Portions are decent for the price tho the hash brown serving is on the smaller end compared to other diners. The bacon in the omelette was generous however.
The food was good and very tasty, though the presentation could be a little better. I had to move items around for the picture, lol. The dining area is dated yet clean. Ventilation need improvement, guest can smell the greasy cooking as soon as you step inside.
After a long night of fun and drinks, I needed a good breakfast spot, especially since I we were staying the Westin, which was hosting a conference and was super busy in the morning. After some research and craving comfort food, the family and I decided on this spot. It’s within walking distance, but we drove which was convenient and there was plenty of parking on a Saturday morning around 10 a.m. Their menu features dishes like loco moco, steak and eggs, burgers, hot and cold sandos that caught my eye, but I wanted something hearty. I knew a chicken fried steak would hit the spot, so I decided to share it with my partner. My sister ordered a burger, that hit. Her fries and burger both looked absolutely delicious, and the chicken fried steak was fantastic! We also ran into a few friends fr
Fried chicken and cream sauce were so good. The toasts were crispy. I requested runny eggs, they were perfect. Personally, I prefer the house fries to be cooked a little bit more but they were good. They prepare jams, condiments, hot sauce, coffee cream and sugar on the table for you. I got really good service. The atmoshphere was quite unique and I like the vintage they keep inside the restaurant.
