Perkins American Food Co.

It was our first time here and it's like Denny's and Cracker Barrel had a baby!!! The food was delish and service was excellent. I wouldn't normally go out to eat by myself but in this place I definitely would and I will! Oh and their pies are a must-try and the good thing about them? You can also take them home!

Went there for breakfast with family members. Sat down, and we got our drinks and coffee. Waited for our order to be taken. Resturaunt was almost empty. Even my family members who eat there a lot said, "It doesn't usually take this long. Maybe they forgot about us." Had to ask for someone to take our order. After that, she was alright. The cashier was not friendly and acted like she didn't even want to be there. Good food, had the Eggs Benedict, but the staff needs to be more attentive to the customers and a little more enthusiastic. 8 people in the restaurant and had to ask for a waitress. Noticed on the reviews it's not the first time. Need to fix that. Overall, it was an OK experience. It's not a good showing to a first-time customer. Perkins your staff needs to do better. The fries and onion rings were cold the patty melts tasteless. In addition, we received it after two other tables that arrived after us got their orders. Whether it was intentional or a lack of organization it’s unappreciated. Especially when the restaurant was 90% empty during what should have be the lunch rush. Having been dissatisfied with the service and food a couple of times we definitely will not be returning.

Went with my grandma for a bite. When we got our potato pancakes, they were burnt. When the waitress came by to bring my toast and asked how things were going, we were honest about the food and she asked if we wanted it remade and we declined due to a lack of time because we had errands to run and our food had taken a half an hour and we didn't want to wait another half hour for new food that might be burnt again. I received my toast after I was digging in to my main plate, which is fine with me, but it also happened to be burnt and was pretty much dripping butter. The waitress didn't come by again until we were finishing up, and only said "here you go" as she slipped us the bill onto the table next to our empty cups. Didn't ever ask us for refills, which I had needed, but didn't want to b

Do not waste your money! Went here for my grandma's birthday. Service was ok, I think there were a whole 3 workers in the entire restaurant.( So not exactly their fault) We did have a larger party but the food took forever ( over an hour), and half of it was cold by the time we got it. My "pot roast" sandwich had maybe 2 shreds of meat and a giant hunk of funky fat. It was more of a cold disappointing grilled cheese. The side salad was the highlight of my meal. The "atmosphere" was rundown. A serious remodel is needed, or at the very least some dusting. I do not enjoy going somewhere to eat and being surrounded by dust and cobwebs. The building is dilapidated and needs repair. I was so disappointed, you could not pay me to go back. This place used to be a favorite, not anymore.
