Kastle Kreme

Review Date: August 8th, 2016 This castle has a moat of ice cream, corn dogs and deliciousness. I kid. There is actually no moat of ice cream, corn dogs and deliciousness, but there is a counter where you can order some of those. After driving past Kastle Kreme a few times on my way to Iowa, I finally made a conscientious effort to stop and try their ice cream. I do love me some ice cream shacks. Boy, what a yummy stop it was. From what I could tell, you can only walk up and order food. Which is fine, as other ice cream shacks I have been to are similar. For the size of the building, it’s kind of odd that there isn’t an indoor area, unless I am mistaken. It’s about the size of a small business building, if that makes sense. The perfect little neighborhood ice cream shack. I love that they offer the rotating flavors of the Dole soft serve; it’s great to have a dairy free option. Everything else on the menu is delicious as well, and the prices are reasonable. The line outside moves fast.

Tasty neighborhood treat! I was surprised by all the things on the menu and will have to try many more!

Will not be back... I love how everyone says give back invest in your community let's make Galesburg great again but none of these businesses are really about that. Very heartbreaking. And I've spent $1000s here over the last 15+ years ....

Always great ice cream and service here. You can't go wrong with choosing anything. Whether it's the dole whip flavor, flavor bursts or a delicious flurry (monster cookie, oreo ball, better than anything). Service is always excellent and friendly.
