The Beanhive

The vibe of the hive is great. Emily and I decided to get out of town for a day and picked Galesburg to roam around and explore. I let her pick the coffeehouse we visit and that’s how we ended up at The Beanhive. Upon walking in, I knew we picked a great place. The Beanhive has the vibes of grandma’s house. Everything feels vintage, antiqued, and from the 1970s. The decor is definitely eclectic and feels like they raided said grandmas’ house for all their furniture. All of that is a positive in my book. Emily ordered a caramel latte and I got my usual iced americano and we split a warmed up cinnamon roll for breakfast. It didn’t take too long for our drinks and roll to come out. The americano was as dark as the night sky and that was a good sign. I took a sip and was instantly in heaven

I was in town for the weekend and stopped here because I liked the name. I fell in love with it because it's everything I want in a local coffee shop, great coffee, food, friendly staff and eclectic inviting atmosphere.

Great coffee, great tea, wonderful staff. The unique decor and cozy atmosphere make it a welcoming experience. The Beanhive will be a "must go" when we visit Galesburg.

Absolutely adorable and a delightful crew working. The selection is large but the staples are strong. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

The Beanhive is a quaint little shop with a charming owner and engaging employees. I really like spending a little time sipping my latté in their cozy space. The sausage and apple quiche is excellent! A few food items have been added to the menu since I first reviewed the Beanhive, specifically a breakfast sandwich, consisting of bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese on a sourdough bun, and biscuits and sausage gravy. The "biscuits" are actually the house made sourdough buns. The gravy is rich, savory, and packed with sausage. I like to throw the staff a little curve ball by ordering the breakfast sandwich with a side of breakfast potatoes topped with the sausage gravy. It is DELICIOUS! Oh, and hours have expanded to 7 days a week!
