Peppino's Pizza of Byron Center

Ordered a delivery with an estimated delivery time of ~45 min ie 7:02pm. 7:02pm rolls around without a delivery. No big deal, it’s Friday evening so totally expected a bit of a delay. Attempted to call the restaurant once 7:45pm rolled around but was not able to get ahold of anyone. Eventually got ahold of them at 8:11pm and was told that they thought the order was for pickup and would have them out for delivery after reheating. Pizzas were finally delivered at 8:33pm a whopping 91 min after the original estimated delivery time which was a total of 136 min after ordering. I don’t think we would have ever received the order had we not been persistent with calling. 🫣 The food was good although we didn’t get the garlic crust as ordered and a few of our pizza slices were burned from the reheat

Good pizza and wings but service and business management are very poor. Ordered for pickup (with tip) over an hour in advance and it was 10-15 minutes late (3rd time in a year for us). Then they mixed up orders and gave us the wrong order so we had to return to get the correct order, and enjoy cold pizza at home. Poor business management bringing down a good family business name. Go elsewhere unless you have the time.

I understand that Halloween night is going to be busy… got it. I phoned in an order and was told 1 hour and 10 minutes. I finally got my order an hour after the pick up time. I get it, very busy. No issues. However… when I get back to the house with the order, the pizzas were cold (very cold) and the breadsticks were warm. So, they forgot the breadsticks and my pizzas sat for a long time. Poor planning. That’s not the worst part… while waiting for my order, and playing rocks, paper, scissors with a fellow patron, we witnessed an employee getting a soft drink and spilling a little on the floor. He grabbed a few napkins and wiped it up… great!!! Thank you. However, he then took the same napkins… same side he wiped up the floor with and wiped up the counter as well. Please address this

Got the meatball sub with fries. The meatball sub was excellent. Very soft bread and piping hot when I got it back home to eat.

Just trying to figure out how the online ordering gets slotted into their priority of making pizza. Ordered for a 5:20 pickup time, arrived at 5:20 to pick up the pizza order and it wasn’t ready. It’s 7:05pm and I’m still waiting for my order. I know it was busy that night, but just feels like my order is being skipped multiple times.
