Great place to find everything Nigerian cuisine. Though not very spacious for large groups and parking can be a challenge, great for quick pickups, Uber Eats and the like. They however may want to replace the menu QR code posted on the wall…it’s a little bit defaced.
I ordered Afang soup, which was very delicious. This is the only Nigerian restaurant I have found in Boston that sells Afang soup (correct me if I'm wrong). But my concern is that the portion of the soup is significantly smaller than at other restaurants, and to be honest, I also think it's small for the price. Hopefully, they do something about it. Overall, the food was good.
The food was delicious, but I felt like the pricing was not transparent. When I entered, there was no visible menu, and the prices were only displayed on a photo of the menu. I was charged $25 for jaloff rice, four pieces of plantain, and two pieces of beef stew, but according to the Google Maps menu, the price should’ve been $15. I usually pay around $15 or $16 for similar dishes at other places, so this felt overpriced. While the food was tasty, I believe the pricing should be more clear and consistent with what’s advertised.
Loved it, got Amala and ewedu, egusi and poundo, meat pie, suya and jollof rice. Everything was so nice, definitely recommend and will be going back
Unexceptional Nigerian cuisine. Staff are nice enough, and the restaurant is your typical small scale affair, but the jollof and fried rice I tried were definitely not an exciting taste of Nigerian food, especially compared to the alternatives available in Boston and Worcester. Hopefully the soups will be better.
