Peck's Place

Father and son owned place and they both work there. Father came out and chatted and gave us history of the place. He started it from a trailer and built it up. So down to earth and food is awesome and plenty! A must go place. They are opened Wed - Sat.

We are at Pecks this week and I give it 10 stars out of 5. Oysters/shrimp combo was perfect. Cooked perfectly, hot when delivered to table and very very good quality. As an ending, we had apple tarts, hot out of the kitchen. Oh my—perfect in every way. Will eat here every time we are in Ocilla from now on. Just wonderful!

Peck's Place is the king of restaurants in the surrounding counties hands down!! Their food is well prepared and taste great 🤗😋. The staff and owners are as friendly as they come!! They have a variety of food to choose from and they will attempt to cater to your specific diet and taste! I'm a 30 year plus vegetarian and I can truly say that I have an offset type of demands of what I like to eat within the realm of vegetarianism😅 ,the owner and son decided to cater to my particular meatless diet in many ways and even added plant based burgers on their food list!! These guys and gals @Pecks are the best!!! The food prices are very fair may I add☺️. #PecksPlaceIsNo1

Decided to dine at Peck's on a slow Friday evening. Service was quick and staff was very friendly and polite. I ordered the Shrimp Po'Boy which comes on a sub roll with tomato, lettuce, and tartar sauce. I chose the fried shrimp, which was cooked great. Crispy, yet tender, with a tasty breading. I'm more of a Remoulade fan than tartar sauce, but it did not detract from the overall flavor. The rest of my party ordered the fried shrimp platter and the blackened fish filets. They thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and blackened fish. I would highly recommend a visit to this establishment. It is worth the drive!

I edited my review. I HAD TO GO BACK! GREAT popcorn shrimp but try the STEAK SANDWICH! I really like EVERYTHING I've tried from here. I especially love the sweet tea and hometown feel. The people are friendly, the building is cute, and the food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
