Catfish House

First time eating at the Fish house. Our church group (Grace Baptist Church Douglas, Georgia) enjoyed our time of fellowship. The food was great and I look forward to going back soon.

My husband and I went here for our first time for a family members birthday supper. We had a party of 18 and reservations were made ahead of time. We had just a few minutes wait to be seated because we had extra people come for the birthday supper. Our waitress was wonderful. She got our meal choices quickly and put our orders in. Our food was out hot and fresh before we expected it to be with our large party. After the meal our waitress brought out plates for everyone to eat a piece of the birthday cake that was brought by a family member. The restaurant atmosphere is family oriented and quaint. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. They have a good menu of seafood choices and the prices are reasonable and portions filling. Great place to eat seafood

Good and service were great, atmosphere wasn’t as welcoming. I felt like I was being stared at by everyone there as if I didn’t belong there. Welcome to South Georgia folks 🇺🇸 I grabbed my takeout and hurried out The food was definitely delicious though and the Pecan Cheesecake was the perfect dessert

I was actually born here in Ocilla but lived in Fitzgerald. It’s always been hard to find good food in the area. Walking in, I truly didn’t expect much. It was just going to be somewhere to eat. But oh baby!! EVERYTHING was good! I didn’t expect it at all and ate my food before I knew it! I’ll show a half of my mom’s plate after she finished eating because she got so much food! She loves fish and absolutely loved everything here! I had the steak, sweet potato, and salad. She had catfish, shrimp, mullet, green beans, okra, and sweet potato fries. It was all good as well! Definitely recommend!

Not sure about the experience .... was unable to sit with everyone else... they wanted you to sit under people. Gave a "different " vibe when you walk in you will feel it.
