Pear Tree Bungalow

Great pears and red wine here! The house is amazing. Recently remodeled, modern style, great views. We had an amazing Indian food dinner and great Napa wine provided by the host (who, by the way, looks like he drinks a lot of that himself!) However the dog peed on me, the food was a bit too spicy and the host was not very accommodating when my daughter asked if they could make something not spicy for her. Not the service you'd expect from allegedly 4-star resort

We had a great one week stay at Pear Tree Bungalow in August. The all you can drink red wine was a great (and unexpected) feature. We got full use of the hot tub and pool. Sauna was closed for the season so can't comment on that. Next time I would like to take the complimentary celebrity home tour, which to our disappointment was only offered on the last night of our stay.

Recently renovated, The Pear Tree Bungalow features an unrivaled wilderness experience including coyote and deer viewing from a ceder hot tub with poolside drink service. Perfect for travelers with a minimalist esthetic. While I do appreciate the management’s efforts to minimize their carbon footprint, I might suggest a less scratchy alternative to bamboo toilet paper for guests with a sensitive derrière

Tremendous setting and service. The Lafayette hills provide a stunning backdrop for a professional and elegant experience. As a non native English speaker, the hosts command of multiple languages made the experience welcoming and warm.

Very nice place. The dog is very crazy and did urinate on me. Hot tub and sauna are nice, but pool was unheated.
