Pawling Deli & Convenience

I went there because the reviews indicated they have a chopped cheese. It seems they no longer carry it. They also have a very limited selection for sandwiches. It appears to be all Boar's Head stuff. I ordered a sub and wanted to get pastrami, but they were apparently out of that, so I got roast beef instead. It was a decent sub with fresh ingredients, and packed with a fair bit of meat. Tasty enough. The rest of the store has an interesting variety of mostly unnecessary junk at a marked up price. I'm not sure I'll be going back.

The staff was extremely engaging and cordial, very nice folks!! One gentleman recommended the tuna very highly so I ordered it, and it was exceptional!! They use a bit of lemon pepper and it was delicious!! We also ordered a roast beef sub which was equally satisfying and tasty! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Good energy. The employees are cool and on earth whenever I'm there and on point I place my order and I could leave and come back I've yet to get the wrong anything on my sandwich. Clean and everything is always fresh. I don't get my subs anywhere else since I've been there.

I don't usually leave reviews for convenience stores, but I can really appreciate how they do business. Every employee in the store is super friendly and outgoing. They always have a positive attitude and they actually interact with the customers and have real conversations, unlike most other stores where the employees won't even look or speak to you. Being a small business owner myself I can really appreciate the importance of that. We need more small business in the community like that!
