Paul Bunyan Restaurant

Paul Bunyan's is your basic burger joint where you can get a basic burger - nothing special. We liked that we could substitute onion rings for fries. My onion rings were a little overdone. They have malts and shakes! I enjoyed my blue raspberry malt. This is a fast food place. You order at the counter, then your order is delivered to your table. They also have a drive through. I would usually give 5 stars but I’m a little disappointed after the last visit. So much salt! Trying to share some nuggets and fries with my toddler and pick out the ones that weren’t completely coated was tricky. They’ve always had very tasty food but this time was a miss. :(

We meet there monthly, weather permitting, with our classic cars. They are always quite accommodating.

Honestly, so frustrating going to this place.. my family and I have tried going 3 different times in the last three weeks around 8:30-9pm and every time they have either been closed or people have been there with lights on but once we pull up lights get turned off, they won’t answer phones or even let us know through the speaker. Online and signs on the building say you are open until 10:00 pm on Fridays when we try to go. if that has changed, I feel that you should put that out there for your customers to see.. and if it hasn’t then your employees are shutting earlier and losing out on business. Not only that but the last few times we have been able to get food there it is cold or not what we ordered.

I get fast food, but it's gotten bad over the last 6 months. Today's visit will be the last. We only go once a month. Pickles on a chicken sandwich with chicken that wasn't even warm... all burgers messed up and a 1/2 inch slab of tomato. All vegetables looked to be sitting in the heat since morning.. it was 8pm. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we got sick tonight even after tossing half the food and opting to make our own... I know it's hard to get workers and its fast food.. .. but tonight was just disgusting
