Fish ON

Fish in the fish n chips was really fishy tasting.. turned me off to the whole meal. They should probably choose a different fish for the fish n chips, like haddock or cod. Also maybe store it it better so it doesn’t taste like a raw fish in your mouth. The batter on the fish n chips is probably the worst I’ve ever had. Work on your batter recipe … it went soggy in like 2.5 sec. Overall the ambiance was great… the service was great… the food was mediocre at best.

This is an amazing place to swing in for a FANTASTIC meal and absolutely great staff and owners. I have to, the Szechuan Fish Bowl is absolutely worth the trip alone! I have never had a noodle dish where the absolute star of the dish was the noodles themselves. They were one of the most complex flavorful (slightly spicy) noodles I've ever had. With large pieces of fried fish and a very well balanced slaw nothing about this fish was anything short of amazing. I also sampled the prawn chips which were light, crunchy, and had a great spicy sauce drizzled over them. Rounding out the meal I tried a pickled egg and some house pickles and was blown away with how good they were. To drink I had a local Rathdrum breweries (Ho Country) marionberry cider and was pleasantly surprised by it's ber

This is the best restaurant I've ever gone to. The food was out of this world! Service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere is very calm and chill. I recommend, "The Fish On!" Burger, and "Fried Artichoke Hearts". Also the Root Beer is AMAZING! I am definitely coming back.

I personally am not understanding how they have such high reviews based on the food we had. The fish and chips is VERY fishy tasting, makes it hard to eat. The batter tasted burnt and was soggy. One of the worst fish and chips i think I've ever had. The other food was mediocre at best honestly. I would not recommend this place let alone eat her again. Expensive for the terrible food you get.

This place has for sure the best po boys in North Idaho. The catfish is my favorite. Steven has a great menu and great beer selection. Last time I had the smoked salmon hush puppies and they came with a killer dipping sauce but they didn't even need it, so I used it for my fries.
