Stopped in for dinner. We managed to beat the dinner rush. Staff was very friendly answering it questions before ordering. Decided on party burger, kids plain burger, double chipotle burger, garlic fries, and chili cheese fries. For came out fairly quick. My kid liked it alot as he just sat and ate, no talking or goofing around. Patty Burger was good. Chipotle Burger was good but for me could have been little spicier. Chili fries were awesome. Garlic fries also very good. Debated on a milkshake as it looked good but didn't think I had room and I was right, next time. The owner came by and talked with us for a bit. Overall cool vibe, friendly staff and great food. Wish they would extend happy hour for like 30 mins cause I can't make it in time after work.

Patty’s Diner is a total gem! Since it’s so close to my job, I can already tell this is going to be a frequent pit stop for me. The vibe here is incredible—I loved the imagery and the bright, popping colors. It truly feels like you’re dining in a real old-school diner, but with a perfect modern touch. They even have great old-timey music playing, which really completes that nostalgic atmosphere! The food was just as good as the decor. I highly recommend the Double Oklahoma Smash Burger; it was perfectly seasoned, and the Birthday Cake milkshake was the ultimate treat. My fiancé went with the Single Mushroom Burger and a Peanut Butter shake, and we shared the Patty’s Smash Loaded Fries, which were the highlight of the table. If you want amazing food in a stunning, nostalgic setting with

Such a cute and yummy new local diner! We got the classic smash burger, grilled cheese, and garlic parm fries. Will definitely be back to try the hot dogs, milkshakes, etc. If you like Jeffrey’s burgers in San Mateo/Menlo Park this is another similar and great option! Food: Smash burger - delicious, super fresh Grilled cheese - yummy bread/lots of cheese Garlic fries - freshly cut garlic!!!! Atmosphere: Tables are first come first serve. There’s 3 booths, a couple of table tops, and a long bar. If it’s crowded you may have to wait for a table. Service: Space was suuuuuper clean. Owner (Keith I believe) was so nice, introduced himself and was open and receptive to any feedback we had. Other staff were also super friendly and helpful.

I thought the place was cute so I read the menu. I thought hmm this looks interesting and came inside placed my order and sat at the bar top. The owner greeted me and helped me with my order number sign. Very nice young woman. I ordered the burger bowl with sparkling water . I’m kind of on a diet. It was beyond my expectations. The burger was so well seasoned and the sauce was perfect. Usually the sauce is too much ketchup but this one was just right. I didn’t miss the burger bun because this was such a delicious and filling salad. I’ll be back for sure to try it with a bun.

Overall: overpriced for the portion size, small portion sizes across the menu, average-mediocre food quality, and lacking service. Price and portion: The portion sizes of the food were incredibly small considering how much is being charged. Items like burgers don't come with fries, they are ordered separately are also expensive for a tiny portion. Our group of 4 people who don't even eat that much ended up going elsewhere afterwards still being hungry. The hotdog is perhaps the smallest I have ever seen at a restaurant. Everything comes out on tiny cardboard side dish sized containers, not even baskets, which ends up making a mess. They either need to adjust portion sizes and include sides to justify the prices or just lower prices across the board, you're just paying for the atmosphere.
