Patrick's on the Hill

Oxtail was a 10/10, absolutely amazing, and all the sides were great. I wasn’t a big fan of the brown stew chicken (the chicken itself was a bit dry), but the stew was rich and flavorful. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or a calm dinner. The owner’s wife even stopped by to let us know they have jazz on some Fridays and weekends, which was a really nice touch. They’re still new, so please be kind — but the FOOD WAS GOOD.We also tried the mango mint non-alcoholic drink, which was refreshing and delicious. Definitely worth checking out!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice in the past week, and both visits were excellent! Gissel, our hostess, was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. I ordered the oxtails, mac and cheese, and plantains — everything was seasoned to perfection. The oxtails were tender and flavorful, and the baked mac and cheese was delicious. I also tried the Blue Island Splash, which was refreshing and nicely balanced. Great food, great service, and a warm atmosphere — I’ll definitely be back again!

The owner, Patrick, even took the time to socialize with us, making us feel like valued guests. Amazing delectable food. Fall off the bone meat. We ordered the jerk chicken and the oxtail and omg I didn’t know chicken could be that soft and delectable. It was the best cooked chicken I have ever had in my life. The oxtail was more (predictably) fabulous. I also loved the sides and the cocktails were great. I highly recommend this spot!

Patrick’s on the Hill is amazing! The food, the ambiance, the staff! Sharita was my waitress and bartender, and she was superb! The owner Patrick is present and will check in on patrons. We had a great time listening to the jazz performance on Sunday and eating the food and the mint virgin mojito is excellent! Highly recommend!
