Customer Reviews
They guy who served us was patient woth us and flexible with our unique needs. The food was great, it was spicier than im used to, but i still enjoyed it. Orderd cassava leaf with rice and fufu! Id come back here.
OK so years ago, my daughter said that she had a bad experience. She found hair in her food however I have never been a big fan of cassava leaf. I tried Cassava leaf at home touch kitchen good however I like it at this point. I’ve made at home, I own my own restaurant However I gave these people a try. He was rude unappreciative they advertise things on the menu and didn’t have them available plus they wanted to overcharge us for the food in the product or service. However, the chicken was not cooked. How can you not cook chicken where is not tender or it’s tough and makes no sense to me. I just don’t understand how restaurants like this are even still open
even after our misunderstanding after receiving the wrong item she replaced it, but the meat in the soup did not seem to be cooked thoroughly, and I found 2 big pieces of what looks like pure bone/fat which had no meat attached so I was skimped and paid $30 for my meal just to be given bones in places meat should have been. The soup was not very tasty it did not taste like Palavo sauce, it was slimy and way too spicy and had no flavor, idk if the spice just overpowered the flavor but it was not good overall. This was my first and last time. I never made an argument but the lady kept trying to argue even tho i was very calm and cooperative.
This is my preferred African cuisine restaurant. I love the food here. The flavors, the friendliness of the owner, and the atmosphere! I just enjoy it. Keep making awesome food.
Food price went up but the food quality went down. Casava leaf had little to no meat in it and the few pieces it had in it was very tough to eat. Had to come home and cook my own meat to add to it to actually be able to enjoy it.
