Wonderful authentic food. A friend of mine said it brought her back to the time she lived in ethiopia. I highly recommend the beef tibs. Sambosas are amazing! This would be a perfect place to unwind and relax with someone you love. We will be back.

Outstanding! Have never had the opportunity to enjoy Ethiopian cuisine. Enjoy we did. What delightful favors. Great service. A hospitable team. And the coffee! Wonderful! We'll hopefully be back.

It’s my first time there, excellent food! Des Moines has some wonderful African food, this might be at the top of my list after one lunch. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, the restaurant is incredibly clean. I will definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer.

If you're looking for authentic food and culture, this is a great place to try something unique and different. Everything is made fresh, they even make their own honey wine! 👌 Experience their coffee ceremony on the weekends!

I often eat at this authentic Habesh restaurant near my workplace, usually during lunch breaks. The Veggie Combo is my favorite, and I’ve also had the Kunta Firfir a couple of times. Genet and Solomun are always welcoming.
