Celebrated our anniversary dinner here. Staff was wonderful and seated us in a quiet corner table. Server Hannah was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations we were very happy with. The food was very well prepared. Scallop appetizer was tender and had sweet and smoky elements. The halibut was the most tender I have ever eaten. The tuna was expertly cooked and came with a variety of elements, both sweet and savory. Very highly recommend!
What an amazing night celebrating my sister’s 50th. The atmosphere was perfect. We had our own space for a party of 12. Our waitress Hannah was so polite, kind, had perfect recommendations for food and beverages. Our food choices were, chowder, out of this world, swordfish, cod, salads, salmon… everything was perfect and truly delicious! We sat closer to the kitchen and we could feel the energy and love that goes on in there. Gold stars for all, the service, the kitchen, food, drinks, and the space in which to celebrate! Thank you Pate’s! A night will we remember.
Last night we had dinner at Pate’s, and it was such a charming spot! The hostesses were incredibly welcoming, but the real standout was our waiter, Sam—he was truly fantastic. I tried my first dirty martini (with stuffed blue cheese olives!) and honestly, that might have been the highlight of the night. Absolutely divine. Sam personally made those stuffed olives. He did a great job! I really appreciated that the menu clearly marked dishes containing nuts with an “N.” More restaurants should adopt that—it’s so helpful. We started with the crab cakes, which were just okay. They leaned a bit too heavy on the filler and not enough on the crab. For my main course, I ordered the filet mignon. I asked for medium rare, and it came out more medium, but it was still very flavorful and well-prepar
high end atmosphere with a menu variety and quality that definitely matches. the seafood was very fresh and the service was great.
Our favorite dining experience in Chatham! Really impressed with their drinks and menu selection. Everyone enjoyed their pasta dishes, especially the interesting take on Bolognese. I loved the salmon tartare cones reminiscent of French Laundry. Least favorite dish was the fish and chips which needed a little more salt and flavor.
