Pastai Restaurant

Pastai is a MUST for fantastic Italian food. I came in during my first night in NY and it was such a memorable experience. I was so eagerly excited by every bite and sip of deliciousness! The food is incredibly flavorful. The Bruschetta with house-made ricotta, crushed pistachios & spicy honey is truly out of this world, and a must-must-try. The owner is the kindest and very thoughtful and generous with those that walk in, wanting everyone to enjoy their time. I loved it and will definitely be back!

Had a great date night at Pastai before a broadway show. Had the bruschetta appetizer and spaghetti al carbonara. Both were excellent and great portions. Also had their espresso martini which I highly recommend. The staff was friendly and engaging. Price was very reasonable, even more so when considering the quality. Could not recommend more highly!

Food: I had a delicious plate of pasta here. I ordered the flank steak ragu, which was extremely tender and flavorful. The menu offers an elevated and diverse menu of pastas. I also had a delicious sans alcohol cocktail. Ambiance: The ambience of Pastai feels warm and reminded me of the intimate energy of Italy. I am excited to come here again and try another dish and deviate away from my typical go-to's! CS: The staff were extremely kind and attentive. It's really refreshing to unwind from a tiring day and be met with warmth and generosity, especially during these frigid days in nyc!

We booked the chef's table and loved every minute of it. What a great little spot for dinner. The Italian chefs Luigi & Ricardo were very interesting and we had fun talking to them. The food was delicious, as was the wine. Highly recommend this spot in Amsterdam!

Top notch!!! Everything about our dinner was perfect, starting with the kind and solicitous wait staff. I had scallops starter and salmon entree w/deeeeeelicious warm lentil salad on the side. Our shared creme brûlée and orange cream-filled donuts dessert makes me salivate just writing about it. Five stars. Grazie, mille, Pastai!!
