Parlour Excelsior

Well if you have been to the original site this is very similar! Still the best burger in the Twin Cities hands down. They have added a few variations apun off the classic parlour burger. The bacon bourbon burger was quite good. I was happy I deviated from the classic parlour, but more often I would stick to the classic (but that is just me). It is still the same HIGH QUALITY base patty. They have a handful of veg friendly options, but I would check with server for compliance. Their fries and popcorn are still staples items from original site. And just as good They have an adventurous drink menu, albeit only a dozen options...but flavorful and quality. Solid!! Loved the famous burger. The popcorn is weirdly fabulous, and the dill dip with the fries is a must. Jalen took great care of our group and the other staff were also welcoming and accomodating. Docking a star because while the cocktail menu looked varied and interesting, the NA menu is pretty sad. There were 4 options and they were all fruity and citrus-y and summery. Just not the vibe for a below zero January night in a cozy basement bar. In 2026 it's just time to do better when it comes to NA offerings. The menu also didn't explicitly state whether the bitters in the NA negroni are NA bitters or not (this doesn't matter to me, but it does to many, especially folks in recovery). Had the Adios Amigos cocktail and the falafel, both were made well. The cocktail was subtly sweet, strong, and refreshing, and the falafel was crispy and seasoned with a hint of spiciness. Prices are decent for the portion and atmosphere. The room is smaller than I expected, but I felt comfortable at the bar and the booths seemed spacious. Decor is minimal with a hunting trophy room/lounge aesthetic. Service was friendly and attentive. Thanks for welcoming me to the area!

We have now been to all the Parlour locations and many food truck locations, and I would say this one is not at all a good representation of their restaurant. The food was good but the vibe was not. Our bartender was not welcoming and friendly at all. We were the only ones sitting at the bar and it was as if we were such a burden to her. The restaurant was not busy and she had no time of day for us. Our drinks were made fine but there was no smile or check in on our satisfaction along the way. When we were ready to order more, she came out from the back chewing a mouthful of her dinner (I'm assuming) which was super unprofessional. Yuk! We didn't order anything else - except our bill.
