Parkside Restaurant and Lounge

This was a decent place to eat at a decent price. Everything around here is so expensive! Dave had the double cheese burger, Son had the French dip, and I had the clam chowder and garden salad. All were very tasty and devoured. The clam chowder was very thick and creamy. Lots of clams! Would recommend this for a quick bite. We were the only ones in the place for lunch, so service was good.

Nice local restaurant but nothing special on the menu other than fried razor clams (and delicious pineapple margaritas). The clam chowder was also extra flavorful.

My wife and I really enjoyed this place. We ordered the club sandwiches and I must say, they were some of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. For the appetizer, we got the fried calamari. Delicious! The reason, however, that this review is not a five star review, is because of the clam chowder. The presentation was there... But it lacked in flavor. It was very bland and my wife kept saying that it tasted like they used clams from a can. I concur with her observation. Overall though, good food. Good environment. Good looking pies and cakes. We didn't order any because we were too full, but, they looked incredible.

Kids asked if we can stop here again. Food was delicious! Kids oredered from the kids menu. They got chicken strips and Cheeseburger. Zero complaints. Chowder is house made and super yummy. Hubby loved the philly!

We've only gone here for breakfast, but we're gonna do lunch/dinner one day... soon™. This our favorite place for breakfast when we stay on the coast. Every item on the breakfast menu is amazing and the staff? They're friendly and want you to have a good time. Extra honey with your tea? You get it. Extra onions with your meal? You get it. It's a home meal away from home.
