Parker's Smokehouse

Great brisket and pulled pork! We had them cater an event at work and it was a huge hit. The cornbread muffins were delicious! We also got the potato salad and baked beans as side options and they went fast!

Reasonable prices for high quality smoked meats. Parkers doesn't stop there though. They have sandwiches and chicken and dinners with gravy, and my new personal favorite, a ribeye Reuben sandwich. Good food and it's a small regional chain I think just locations here in Lincoln and Ashland as far as I know. Feels good to support a small business like that, and the food and customer service is just an extra bonus. It's a good sized restaurant, but it's also really popular so some nights there could be a little bit of a wait. I nearly always get take out so I can't really speak to how long the waits last.

The evening started out not so great. Upon arrival the dinning area was relatively empty but we were asked to wait 5-10 min. I understand it was to delegate customers equally to servers but it feels like there should be a better way. The two girls at the front were laughing and giggling among themselves, hopefully not on the clock but it seemed they were doing take out orders. We almost left during this wait but I was hungry and really wanted brisket. I ordered the texas brisket plate with a side salad and apples, hubby ordered wings and sweet potato fries. The food was really good, it came out in a timely manner. The corn muffin was delicious even though I wouldnt recommend the apples. But who cares about apples, the main course was on point. Went on a Tues around 3pm. No one was in there. Ordered wings, half eaten pictured and Chicken fried steak. Food was ok, their bbq was nothing special. chicken fried steak was mostly batter and fell off when cut into. Looks good in the picturw

I was surprised by how cozy and clean the interior was, considering the somewhat dated signage out front. 😅 Tried the brisket dinner and a giant onion flower with my husband and we both enjoyed everything. Service was great, too. 🧅
