Paprikas

I passed by this restaurant a few weeks ago and thought it looked interesting because I have never had Hungarian food before. The food was really good and service was nice! I got the Hecho vegetarian option pictured below. One waiter was super friendly but busy guy! I would recommend this restaurant and return. I recommend making a reservation on the weekends

Authentic Hungarian food! Not fancy. Just good food. I had breaded chicken and it was made to order. Delicious!

As far as I can tell with my limited knowledge, Paprikas serves the real-deal authentic Hungarian food. I’m a huge fan of the cucumber salad that’s more like sweet pickles with a ratio of salt-sugar-vinegar that I grew up with. The beef paprikas came with soft tiny handmade noodles that don’t need much chewing. It’s not the type of food I’m overly excited for, but I’m happy to have tried it and I’ll come back to learn more about Hungarian cuisine.

We have been going here many years. Growing up with Hungarian food I can honestly say this food is delicious. While not fancy, the owner is very attentive and friendly. I would recommend a visit.

Best restaurant in the Hellertown area! The owner is amazing and always welcoming. The atmosphere is very old school and takes you back to simpler times. Food is always on point and they have a very large variety. Something to suit any member of the family. The Hungarian dishes are very authentic and made like they were cooked in your grandma’s kitchen. Reminds me of childhood meals when we’d visit our relatives. High quality ingredients and tastes that you don’t get at many local places. Not just some pre-made junk from a bag but a truly delicious meal every time. Desserts are amazing too. Highly recommended.
