Papa's Treat Shoppe

Stopped by on a whim for some ice cream and was not disappointed. What a cool place to visit and step back in time for a bit. Lots of flavors and options to choose from, including a strong list of non-dairy choices. We'll definitely be going back soon! Don't forget to honk the rubber chicken if it's your first visit!

Cute little sweet shop with something for everyone! We stopped in late for ice cream and greeted right away. Lilly made our order for us and provided great service. She was friendly and engaging while we waited. Told us a little about the store. They have a candy section with kids’ coin operated rides and vintage pianos. Lots of gumball machines! Ice cream itself was delicious! Two of us had rolled ice cream and the other two had sundaes.

I went back for Taco pizza cheese popcorn 🍿 and fresh baked cookies. They have so many different flavors of ice cream. They also have so many different flavors of popcorn. He is making new flavors all the time. There is all kinds of candy and they have Glen Rock soda. This places is so cool lots of different candy and stuff. The owner is so nice. If you go there, I bet you won't walk out without buying something. And you will return to buy and check out more there.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Once inside, you're treated to a Wonderfully nostalgic 50s diner/sweet shop atmosphere with amazing ice cream sundaes and Papa's own rolled ice cream recipe, (the orange dreamsicle inspired flavor was unreal!) retro tunes and old school entertainment playing on the tv's. My family and I were nothing but smiles while visiting and I can't wait to go back! Thanks for keeping the Fabulous 50's alive Papa!

Papa's Treat Shoppe is a must visit!!! We loved checking out this retro candy and ice cream store.Huge candy shop when you first walk in followed by a delicious full service ice cream parlor.The store had quite a few antiques and a 1950s theme going on!!! We met the owner he is very 🙂 nice The ice cream is delicious 😋 with many choices!!! The milkshakes looked delicious!!!I highly recommend!
