I’m lucky that such an amazing sandwich is about 3/4 of a mile from my front door. You’re also lucky if it’s within 20 miles from yours because I’d put this up against any sandwich shop in Lake County. Everything was extremely fresh and the serving size was exactly what you want from a sandwich shop! My wife actually had to remove meat from hers to fit her mouth around it! (The jokes write themselves!) The staff and owner were also extremely friendly! Great job guys!

I came here craving real deli food—crafted by folks who actually know their way around a sandwich—and finally found the spot. This isn’t one of those places where the staff just slaps meat between bread and calls it a day. These sandwich makers care. You can taste the experience in every bite. Sure, like everywhere else these days, prices are a bit steep. But here, at least, you’re paying for quality. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are dialed in, and the attention to detail is legit. The sandwich creations at Ellie’s Deli are terrific. There is a great balance between meat, cheeses, veggies and condiments. Hot or cold sandwiches you can’t go wrong. The bread is fresh and the right texture. Counter service is prompt and very friendly.

Wow, this is the type of deli I remember from back in the day! It was busy, but not hectic, when we visited for lunch today. The service was great, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back soon.

SO GOOD, best sandwich I've had in awhile! People were super nice and had a great selection of sandwiches. My boyfriend got an Italian beef and was super happy with it ! Will definitely be coming back. They do a great job of keeping it fresh so it might take a little longer in contrast to other places that don't make their bread or bacon fresh. So worth it !
