Papa's Raw Bar

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This is the best raw bar restaurant ever and I have lived in Fl for a long time and have been to many. Austin our waiter was so friendly, fun, professional and attentive. Food was out of this world. We started with blue crab Rangoons, 12 dozen raw clams which you could tell they weren’t rinsed in freshwater some of the best raw clams we’ve had in a long time my husband had the grouper franchise delicious my daughter-in-law had the poke bowl also delicious my son had something by the ocean sushi roll and I had I believe it was called the Fuji Mama roll. Everything was out of this world even down to the dessert we had the fried brownie and the fried cheesecake. This place is a definite must try. You will love it.

Fresh food, fun flavors, and a funky vibe. Loved the cooked items, drinks, and service. The stone crab Rangoons were so good, crispy and the right amount of seafood energy. The swordfish bites were also excellent. My husband loved his shrimp burger, it was a solid patty and nice toppings. The one thing I didn’t care for was the sushi. It was too chewy and stringy. The nigiri pieces were too cumbersome to easily eat and the rice was forgettable. But the rest of the meal more than made up for it! I’d go back anytime for their cooked dishes. Everything on that front was perfect. They have seafood classics and more creative renditions if you’re looking to branch out.

Quintessential South Florida Vibes Last time I went, they told me they took the PoBoy off the menu. I almost knocked them down to 4-star for that, but it's just not who I am. Seriously though, bring it back! (pictured below). It's a good 30 minute drive from our house, but my wife and I make a point to go there once a month and there's literally nothing bad on the menu. It ain't cheap, but I've never been disappointed. Happy hour oysters and beers are a favorite. Weekdays 3-6 or something like that (check with them). Pro Tip: we have a credit card that gives us a bunch of points at certain places on certain days, so we'll buy ourselves a gift card on that day to get more points then just use that next time we go to eat - feels like a free dinner. I have been wanting to come here for a very long time and man it did not disappoint. Our sever Sam was incredible and we basically let him order for us and everything he suggested was amazing. All the fish and seafood tasted so fresh. O Sea D roll might have been the best sushi roll I have ever had. Can't wait to go back again.

Our server Jake was great, he always checked in on us to make sure our food was good and to see if we needed anything else. Once we placed our orders, the food came out in less than 15 minutes and the cocktails had a lot of alcohol in it. Can’t complain! If you’re craving for oysters and clams, this is the place to be! Clam chowder also tasted heart and it came with oyster crackers.
