Papa Nachos Cantina

Stopped for lunch- was skeptical because of the poor “service” reviews- but our service was GREAT! Salsa stayed full. Drinks stayed full. Food came out fast and was hot. The food was ok - it wasn’t as authentic as we were hoping but - we still enjoyed it and the service was great!

My husband and I ate here last night May 10th 2025! We was greeted by a lady with messy hair sloppy clothes that looked like she just rolled out of bed in a bad mood. We asked for a booth and she wasn’t happy about that. We was usher to a booth. Looking around at what have we gotten into. The servers was gathered with cell phones in hand and heads down. Our server came over and could not answer any questions about anything we asked her. We ordered cheese dip and margaritas, cheese dip comes out lukewarm, margaritas was Undescribable. Salsa and chips was good but asked for more chips and had to ask again. I ordered beef enchiladas came out lukewarm my husband had carne asada. No sear but okay. The beans looked painted onto the plate, basically no beans. We made the decision to never go back

I ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. It was mostly rice and carrots. Terrible. I didn't eat but just a few bites. I told the waitress. She didn't ask me if she could get me something else or take off the soup from our ticket. It was obvious that I had not eaten hardly any. Disappointed.

Food was mediocre at best, out of our party of four, no one really enjoyed our food. The service was the only bright spot.

My family and I visited from south TX. We were greeted by manager Crystal in the foyer, then seated immediately. Server Jaycee provided prompt, professional, and friendly service that met all needs and requests of our decent sized family. Staff exceeded expectations, and are a shining example of Southern hospitality.
