Papa Chulo

Filled me up more than expected. There’s no reason not to get something tasty because you build your own. I enjoyed the carne asada with jalapeños, cheese, ranch and cilantro lime.

Papa Chulo Street Food hits on all cylinders. Let’s review: French fries (which I swear are double-fried a la Belgian fries) Meat for days (the amount of carne asada you get for the price is insanely great) Sauces (trust me when I tell you to go off menu and ask for the cilantro lime sauce) Small, locally-owned business Andres and Sylvia (read their story on Papa Chulo’s Instagram page) - they own the joint and their pride in it is evident in how they explain the menu, how they cook and how they smile when they had you the cleverly-designed cone of goodness that holds the fries. This place is just terrific and deserves to be successful. Do not skip this place when you are in Orem (it’s a great place to recover from darkening the door of the Hellscape that is University Place).

Ate here for the first time after hearing about it on Tik Tok. I thought it was pretty good! It reminded me of Mr. Fries Man, only Papa Chulo tastes a little better. The staff was very friendly and made our food quickly. You definitely get your moneys worth as the portions are huge!

Went for the first time last week and haven't stopped thinking about it since. So delicious and I love all of the options for toppings and sauces! It was also super filling! Since it was our first time they did a great job of explaining how the truck worked and our food was out quick. Cant wait to go back!

This is one of our favorite spots to hit in Provo. The owner is so nice and friendly and the food is amazing! Our kids even ask for “the fry place” whenever we’re in town. So delicious and they don’t skimp on the meat! They deserve all the stars!!
