We stopped in on a chilly Saturday night. It was quiet and we were impressed! Melissa the owner greeted us and served us. The food was tasty. The passionfruit juice tasted fresh and natural! We had the Griot (fried pork) plate with rice and beans, plantains and fresh salad. Everything was plated so beautifully. The owner went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The vibe was great and the music was upbeat! They also book for special events! Please stop by, it is hard to find Carribbean food in this area, and this restaurant will not disappoint!
Ordered from here for the first time. First I’d say I’ll definitely be ordering from them again, however it was quite expensive for what I got. The Fried Beef was so gooood! But the portion size was remarkably small. $25 for a plate of Rice and Beans and $5 extra for the Fried Beef. The portion size wasn’t necessarily worth it but the beef was so good. The meatballs ($15 for 3 😩🤦🏾) was mid and tasted like a frozen Italian meatball that’s fried. It wasn’t given traditional Haitian meatballs. But I will say, I am looking forward to trying some of their other dishes. They gotta work on the portion sizes for the amount of money being charged. $60 dollars spent
Best place for Caribbean food on this side of the city!!! They also have Italian but you really don't want to miss their griot and pikliz! The owner is so friendly and we had great service from all of the staff. It's a family owned business and it really shows in their attention to detail and their welcoming atmosphere. Great music and drinks too. We will be back!!
A new Caribbean restaurant with Haitian Roots the first of its kind on the North Shore. Come check out the amazing Caribbean Vibe and delicious food location in Saugus highly recommend bring all your friends... The traditional soup here is amazing...
Great atmosphere, and great food. The proportions of the appetizers were great— we got the calamari and the plantain cups which were both excellent. They have a great selection of Caribbean and non-Caribbean dishes and drinks/smoothies, especially given it’s a new restaurant, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing what new dishes and drinks get added to the menu. The owner and workers were also very nice; I would 100% recommend others to give this place a try!
