Paoli Library

My recent experiences at Paoli library have been very upsetting, especially concerning the behavior of the children's librarian Sarah. Sarah has consistently treated my kids differently than others—giving them a hard time for small things that other children are allowed to do, and showing a noticeably negative attitude toward them. It’s disheartening to see a place that should be inclusive and supportive make my child feel singled out.

Great for online order from other locations and pickup & drop off

I thought it was supposed to be quite at most library. I tried coming there to get work done, andthere was so much talking goin on.The library attendant, was playing, and coloring with a child, and was carrying a conversation as though she was babysitting . It was very disturbing and very unprofessional , and I would like to be contacted. It was a horrible experience. This library felt more like social hour.

Visited the library at 10/5/21: I had to attend and view a client presentation and need a quite place to connect and listen in my headphone on my own device. When I asked the front desk if I can sit down, like many others were doing, they freaked out. I am hopping it was one of those "judge-the-book-by-its-cover" situation, because if they do this with everyone else, i am not sure how they are still open and functioning. My experience was appalling. The front desk was very conservative, territorial and very unwelcome. For a Public Library environment, it was very sad on how they treat people.

Nice well organized small public library. They have juvenile non-fiction area where books are categorized based on grades which is really helpful to select. Since the library is small, books are easy to locate after searching the title in the library computer.
