Panera Bread

This Panera in Urbana is spacious, modern, clean, and well organized. It’s easy to find a table and the restrooms are always well maintained. We often come here for dinner on nights when I don’t feel like cooking or dealing with dishes. It’s also a great place to meet a friend for coffee or lunch. I’ve never seen it overly busy, which makes it a relaxed spot to sit for a while. The tablet ordering stations can feel a little off-putting, so sometimes I skip them and go straight to the counter. The staff are always happy to help if you prefer ordering that way. Overall, the food is good and it’s a reliable place in Urbana for a quick meal or coffee.

I like this Panera Bread location overall. The food is fresh, tasty, and consistent, and it’s a nice spot to grab a quick meal or coffee. The atmosphere is comfortable and convenient. However, I do think the staff could use a bit more training to improve efficiency and customer service. With a little more attention to detail, this location could easily be 5 stars. Overall, still a good experience and I’ll be back.

New look of Panera lost what made Panera cool. The store is cold, sterile and looks like a hospital cafeteria. No one to take your order, just a row of dirty fingerprint covered ipads to figure out and punch in your order. Thank goodness we didn't have any questions. The food was good and that's the only saving grace here. But if I want Panera I will find an older store for the ambiance. That's why I pick Panera.

Met up with my former employee at Panera — she’s a girl, and we hadn’t seen each other in forever, so naturally we turned Panera into our mini reunion spot. I got the soup-and-salad combo with chili, chicken soup, and an apple. She got soup and a sandwich. We ended up chatting for ages like we owned the booth. Service was fast, the place was super clean, and everyone working there was friendly and patient with our extended “catch-up session.” Panera fed us, tolerated us, and gave us a wholesome little reunion. Five stars.

Had a very pleasant stop for lunch today. My kid had an accident prior to entering and an employee overheard us in the restroom and was very kind and offered us plastic bags. The food was great and on time.
