Panera Bread

After an hours long drive we stopped here for lunch before a scheduled tour. Unfortunately just outside of the building one of my children was having some trouble with bad car sickness. The staff here was so accommodating and kind, went above and beyond. Every single employee we encountered! Food was great too

I'm part of the sip club and it definitely pays off even if you have just a tea or coffee a couple of times a week. The food is usually good but I wish they would return the 10 grain soup. In some locations, they seem a bit understaffed so you might need to use the handy tablets to place your order or you can do that through your phone app.

Dropped in to get some baked goods for dessert after dinner, picked up one of the pumpkin sugar cookies, a lemon drop cookie, a blueberry muffin, and a cinnamon bun. The sugar cookie was great, just sweet enough but not overwhelming which you might expect from the frosting. The lemon drop on the other hand was just pure sugar, where was the lemon? Need to add some zest to that. The cinnamon bun was pretty disappointing, with a really thick glaze on top not meant to be thick, tasted like sugar water, while the bread was just dry and rather bland. Ended up too full to get to the blueberry muffin, but I was able to foist it off on my old man who always likes a good berry muffin.

Unfortunately the food is being prepared sloppy lately. New bagel sandwich with steak came with 2 tiny pieces of steak that you could eat in half a bite. Remainder of sandwiches either over sauced or wrapped to go in a very sloppy manor. Clearly a training issue. Will update review when we start seeing a change.

Best service w Shanna the Panera's best clerk who helped us order and manage our gift card. Her extra work helped us get full value! we were so happy and had yummy soup chili salad and fountain drinks!!!
