Panaderia y Pasteleria Copan - Morelos

I've stopped in here a couple times lately while going down 70. Both times I've been amazed by the selection, quality, and price. Very yummy treats at extremely fair prices. I was a bit confused at first, but you just grab a tray and some tongs and pick out what you want before taking your tray to the counter.

The first time I had them months ago they didn't say much but the pastries were good. The last two times I've gone the doors were locked despite a lit up open sign on the window, lights on inside and the smell of bread. They open at 7 am and I got there at 7:15 am in the first week of August but the door wouldn't open. Today (9/15) I got there at 9 am and the doors were locked again. I even knocked. They also had a stop work order sign on their door. Something about their hoods. So are they not in business? I'm confused.

The cheese cake was WOW!...the service is world class. The owners go the extra to make sure you have a great shopping experience. I would suggest that you stop, wrap a tasty treat. They are right off hwy70, very convenient to Hillsborough. They bake fresh daily, the quality of the food is of the highest. Please go by and say hello.

Delighted to find a hot and fresh stack of corn tortillas for only $3.50! Will definitely return, and may call ahead for tamales next time.
