Palmer House Inn Bed & Breakfast

I stayed here with family over the Thanksgiving week and had a really nice time. The house was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with lots of antiques - it was very cosy, with several nice seating areas to sit and read. The breakfasts were homemade and amazing. Corinne was a wonderful host. The main business street is 50 yards away - pharmacy, restaurants, groceries are all an easy walk distance. Amazing value. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our night at the Palmer House! The home is beautiful, well-kept, and extremely clean. Corinne & Dave had drinks, snacks, and even wine and beer available, which was nice. The bed was comfortable and room was a good size. We especially loved the cats, Lucy and Jack. Breakfast was delicious, and we had a wonderful conversation during breakfast with Corinne & Dave. It was nice having them sit and eat with us! We will definitely be back when we come to Michigan again.

Do yourself a favor, and stay at The Palmer House! This cozy, spacious, & wonderfully decorated 1880’s home provided us the perfect stay, capped off by an amazing breakfast prepared by Corinne. Hope to return!

This is a fantastic bed-and-breakfast. The house has tons of character - you can feel the history as you roam the rooms. The hosts are beyond accommodating and make you feel like family. I slept very comfortably, partly because of the wonderful bed, but also because there’s just a feeling of rest in the house. Oh, and breakfast was incredible - you will not go away hungry! All in all, what a gem of a place!

We cannot say enough good things about the Palmer House in Albion. We have stayed with them now four times, including most recently an extended stay of 17 days. The Victorian House is lovely and well-maintained. The breakfasts are huge, homemade daily, and to-die-for. The hosts Corinne and Dave are exceptionally friendly. And they even allow dogs in certain rooms. The Palmer House is overall a much better value than the chain hotel located one block away. Try it! You will be most pleased.
