Look, I don't know how this place has the stars it does, but in no way does this establishment deserve anything over 2.5⭐, pushing it, on an evidently good day. We were sat, ignored, finally offered drinks, then told to help ourselves to refills. Thank goodness for that, because the waitress couldn't be located other than to drop food on our table and run away. She said they were busy. I waited tables for 20 years and I counted 3 people on that floor. Plus, when you have the guests serving their own drinks, that should free up the waitress to provide actual service. It's a cozy space and doesn't hold a large number of people but I'd happily wait in line if I had to. This was a first visit and we were taking our neighbors out as a thank you for all their help over the past couple of years. We are so glad we visited!! The food was amazing. Alex, our server was very patient with our entertaining neighbor as well as very helpful and efficient. We had their daily ravioli special, which today was a large mushroom filled pocket of nirvana. I really wanted to pull a When Harry Met Sally moment but didn't think the other patrons would have appreciated it. Don’t skip out on this hidden gem 👀 Paladino’s is tucked away in the heart of Apache Junction serving up some amazing Chicago style Italian eats. From pasta to pizza, subs, salads and more. The dishes are family style and definitely shareable. Excellent customer service and a great casual vibe. I love the thin style pizza with a crunchy crust and generous toppings and sauce just right. The Caprese pizza was a hit. I loved the salad! It’s giving Olive Garden vibes but way better quality and freshness. On to the pasta dishes I was so caught up in the fettuccine and Oh My goodness that vodka pasta dishes was 👌🏽 But then I spotted the star of the show, Chicken Marsala. This place is typical of mid to higher-end establishments in AJ. In any other East Valley town it wouldn't be rated as high. We used a Groupon to save about $19 on our meal. With that discount, after tax and tip, we paid about $55 for two entries, two sodas and an appetizer. Our waitress, Rachel, was very nice, obviously experienced, and did everything right. I had the lasagna with a giant, grilled spicy sausage. My wife had the chicken parm and we shared the deep fried ravioli with marinara gravy. All were hot, substantial in size, and generally tasty. I'll eat here again, but I won't be tripping over anyone to do it. The food was good, but not great. However, for AJ, it is a worthy eatery which local residents should know about.

Amazing lunch specials, very relaxed atmosphere, and excellent service! Their Chicken sandwich in vodka sauce is highly recommended.
