Apache Junction Public Library

Very nice, clean, well-lit, kid-friendly library with plenty of reading books. The entry has a large fish tank, and the kids section has a castle. Their calendar offers daily fun and interesting activities. Outside is a large, covered play area.

Great library for both adults and kids. It’s reliable for reserving and checking out books, and they also offer strong community programming. A valuable local resource.

They have place that you can't go with your kid...in the castle room they tell your kid that he not load to make noise,it's a library..there was no one in the game room that only for teenagers.So my 3 year old was told he can't enjoy that room.. this is public, my taxes pay for this use..there old cranky people that run this Library. Not one teenager using this room Stephanie kicks my 3-year-old out.

We go here to attend children events especially since the spaces are maintained well inside, however, the homeless transient population and gathering here is really awful. Every week, there are people camped outside, literally with their belongings on carts and hanging out in the bushes. They smoke and cuss and it's not the best to walk my toddlers up to the door even. We enjoy the library but EVERY week we come here, there are homeless people who are smoking up a storm right outside the entrance near the building. They sit on the ground or the benches and blow their cigarettes and I have to hurry past with my toddlers, one is asthmatic. I have no idea why the library or the city of Apache Junction doesn't do something about this issue but there should definitely be a city ordinance for sm

Large homeless camps spread out around the grounds and in the facilities. Its getting trashed and unsafe. When my older two were little they could easily run from the park to the library, hang out at the mcg while I found a nice clean bench to read a book on a nice day. Not anymore. This is embarrassing to no longer have a family friendly library to take your kids to teach the love of Reading and play.
